STORY

Rebekka Ingibjartsdottir grew up around music from the very beginning. Playing the violin from an early age and watching her parents sing in a choir laid a good ground for her later musicality and discipline. She has a BA degree in Musicology from the Universities of Oslo and Cologne, and another in classical singing and conducting from the Norwegian Academy of Music. She conducts LAFFÍ Vocal ensemble and performs as a singer and violinist on various occasions.

Conductor, Soprano and violinist

In this video you can see the many sides of a musician and a performer. Rebekka builds projects along with other musicians, ensembles and even other art forms such as storytelling. Her main goal when performing is to grasp the attention of the audience, and drag them into the emotions of the music.
